Rain Pryor, is a dynamic speaker, spokesperson for MS, award winning actress, singer, writer, comedian and producer.
In 2007 she was nominated Best New Author for her autobiography Jokes My Father Never Taught Me...Life, Love and Loss with Richard Pryor HarperCollins and is currently working on the movie version of the book.
In 2006, Rain played Ella Fitzgerald in the debut two-hander Ella, Meet Marilyn with Sally Lindsay in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
In 2005 she made her debut at the Edinburgh Fringe with her sellout one woman show Fried Chicken and Latkes and made her London debut earlier in 2006 at Pizza Express in Dean Street where she recorded her recent album, Rain Pryor Live in London.
She made her television debut in 1989 as series regular T.J. on the hit ABC series Head of The Class. She then starred for several years opposite Lynn Redgrave in Rude Awakening. Guest starred on The Division, Frog Girl, Kids Incorporated, KTLA Christmas Special and Chicago Hope (with her father Richard Pryor), and has appeared in numerous independent features as well as Universal Pictures release of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, F-Stop, Harley's Angels, and the ground breaking Melvin Van Peebles Film, Panther.
