Russ and his pop group Scooch represented the UK at the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest. He wrote song ‘Flying The Flag (For You)’, signed to Warner Bros. and reached # 5 in the UK charts last May. Originally formed in 1999, Scooch signed to EMI and gained four top twenty hits including the # 5 single ‘More Than I Needed to Know’, culminating in the album ‘Four Sure’. Worldwide Scooch scored # 1 singles in Japan and Australia.

Russ is a successful television presenter, most recently hosting the popular gameshow Make Your Play on ITV1. He was also the anchor presenter for The Great Big Quiz on Five. Other presenting credits include Glitterball for ITV1, MTV, Disney Channel, Sci-Fi Channel and Generation X for BBC. Russ also appeared in the cult-hit Channel 4series Boys Will Be Girls, trying to pass himself off as a woman! The series has now been shown worldwide and is currently airing in Russia.
