Gemma is looking forward to a reunion with Lisa Riley having spent a number of years with her at the Oldham Theatre Workshop before, at 17, landing the role of Eponine in the stage musical “Les Miserables” in London ’s West End . During this time she also sang alongside Michael Ball and the rest of the Les Miserables cast for a special performance at Windsor Castle , in the presence of the Queen and President Sirac to celebrate the signing of the “Entente Cordiale” in 1904.

Gemma was also one of the original cast of the hit musical “Fame” in the West End , playing the part of Serena.

Gemma’s TV credits include “Family Affairs”, “Doctors”, “Holby City” and may well be remembered more for her voice than her role as the Nurse in “Life on Mars”, although she did make a couple of appearances. Gemma also appeared alongside Victoria Wood and Julie Walkers in “Pat and Margaret” and has recently worked alongside Liv Tyler in the film “The Strangers” due to be released this year.
