Ciara's first major TV role was as Nicole Owen in Channel 4's Hollyoaks. Since leaving the show in 2006 she has made her theatrical debut in Bad Blood in Peterborough and will mark her West End debut in 2009 playing Louise in New Boy at the Trafalgar Studios.

Ciara plays the role of Ellie, a pretty, girly girl in her early twenties. She is always immaculate and aware of her looks but essentially insecure. She doesn't like conflict and has no opinions except those she has picked up from others around her. She is also a bit of an air-head, dipsy, naïve and prone to saying daft things. Men use her for her looks then dump her when they quickly get bored. She is a nice person - too nice, and she has to learn to be herself and to toughen up.
