Sarah Jane is most recently known for playing crazy Kathy Barnes in the channel 4 soap "Hollyoaks".

She made her first TV appearance at 17, singing on an ITV talent program "Scramble" hosted by Richard and Judy.

She went on to train at The Guildford School of Acting and on leaving entered into musicals and TV.

She played the Narrator in the national tour of "Joseph" at the age of 22 and continued in musicals and pantomimes all over the world.

After working in "Elvis the Musical" with fellow actress Jo Michaels, the two then formed a cabaret duo called "The Polka Dots". This lively and exciting act toured with many comedians and artistes including The Chuckle Brothers and Joe Pascuale!

Sarah Jane joins the cast as Gina, an attractive but strong, sharp-witted young lady in her mid/late twenties. She is the brightest, most perceptive of the group with a college education, even though she is a single parent. Now in a relationship, she is very grounded and is almost like a "mother hen" to the others. She sees the best in people but has a strong moral base that doesn't fit easily into this cynical business.
