GARY LAMONT is from Glasgow. He trained at RSAMD. At drama school Gary won the prestigious Duncan Macrae award for the speaking of Scottish verse and prose.
Theatre credits include “James and the Giant Peach” at The Citizens’, “Stars” at The Traverse, “Cinderella” at the MacRobert in Stirling and “Sleeping Beauty” at the Brunton in Musselburgh.
Gary joined “River City” this year, as Robbie Fraser, and has proved a highly popular addition to the cast. Other TV credits include episodes of “Still Game” and “Rebus”.
Commercial credits include ANZ Bank, a job which involved filming in New Zealand, playing a Scottish recent immigrant.
Gary is thrilled to be part of such a great cast in Arbroath, is really happy to be playing Aladdin and hopes everyone enjoys the show and has a great holiday season.
