A native of the isle of Jersey and a graduate of Oxford University, John trained at the Ecole Philippe Gaullier in Paris before returning to the UK in 2007.

Since then he has appeared as John in 'Potted Potter' (Edinburgh Fringe and Australasian Tour) and 'Potted Pirates' (Edinburgh Fringe and UK Tour); the Doctor, Goblin and Seagull in 'The Tin Soldier' (Courtyard Theatre, London); Paris and Tybalt in 'Romeo and Juliet' (UK and Northern Ireland Tour) and Frank Harmless in 'The Black Curtain' (UK and France Tour).
