THE TEXAS TENORS

America’s Got Talent Finalists and “2009’s Number 1 Vocal Group of the Year” are coming to the UK for their first ever Tour this Summer.

Over 100 million people from around the world tuned into America’s Got Talent last year to see The Texas Tenors become “2009’s Vocal Group of the Year”.

The incredible voices of these classically trained Tenors, JC, Marcus and John bring their unique blend of Country, Gospel, Classical and Broadway to the stage with breathtaking vocals, humour with a hint of cowboy charm.

JC is the ever romantic Tenor with his interpretations of classic Neapolitan love songs; Marcus brings a contemporary feel into the group and John, who is simply…The Tenor!

Together they create harmonies as smooth as silk and a sound to satisfy the soul. From well loved arias, to songs of the unexpected, the Texas Tenors bring to the stage one genre of music to another…

THE TEXAS TENORS ARE:

J C FISHER

Growing up in a small Midwest farming community, JC was exposed mostly to country music throughout his childhood. Therefore, he never imagined he was destined to follow in the footsteps of some of the great tenors. He joined the Concert Choir in College, and this is where he discovered his passion for classical music. JC then went on to earn a Bachelor in Music Degree from Wichita State University.

After College he moved to beautiful Lucca, Italy to study and begin his career. There, he performed in the prestigious Puccini Festival and studied with acclaimed Italian Maestro Lorenzo Malfatti. Over the last few years, JC has held featured roles such as Rodolfo in La Boheme, Tamino in The Magic Flute, Ernesto in Don Pasquale and Henrick in A Little Night Music. Other career highlights include singing in Italian Festivals through the United States; singing with friend Rudy Gatlin in Brandon, Missouri and as a featured performed at the Miss Kansas Competition. This was a memorable performance, as it was where he met his beautiful wife Jennifer, who was Miss Kansas 1998. Jenifer and JC now have 2 beautiful children and make their home in Kansas City.

JC is very happy to be part of The Texas Tenors, as he gets to make wonderful music together with his best friends, travel the word and bring the incredible fusion of country and classical music to the world.

MARCUS COLLINS

International singing sensation Marcus Collins brings his unique blend of contemporary and classic hits to the stage along with a peak behind the scenes into the world of television and film. Having most recently appeared opposite Bruce Willis in the blockbuster Perfect Stranger and guest appearances on One Life to Live and Law and Order; SVU, Marcus is also acting on ABC’s The Next Best Thing.

JOHN HAGEN

John Hagen recently made his New York City Lincoln Centre debut in Teatro Grattacielo’s mounting of Mascagni’s opera, Gulglielmo Ratcliff. Mr Hagen has been described as “astonishing, a superb tenor of deep musicality”.
From World Premiers to the standard repertory, John has performed a vast array of operas, musicals and symphony concerts around the US. He is highly regarded for his performances of the Verdi Requiem and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. He has performed these works and others with the Austin Symphony (TX), Corpus Christie Symphony (TX), Omaha Symphony, Southern Wisconsin Symphony, Sioux City Symphony and the Haverford Choir in Philadelphia.

He is highly sought after for Gala Concerts and fundraisers singing favourite arias and Neapolitan songs.
